EthosEnergy is recruiting for a Harness Technician to be responsible for accurately cleaning, assembling, disassembling and testing electrical repair scopes of wire and/or thermocouple harnesses to a high standard with the authority to carry out all tasks as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

  • Clean, assemble, disassemble and test electrical wire harness, thermocouples, speed sensors and any electrical components removed for repair/overhaul.
  • Read complex blueprints specifications, charts and follow work orders and engineering instructions as required by the job scope and mandatory regulations.
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Produce work that is comprehensive in scope and detail.
  • Must be mentally coherent and free from the influence of drugs (either illegal or legally prescribed drugs that may cause impairment) while performing in the capacity of “safety-sensitive” duties/operations per FAA regulations.
  • Perform any additional tasks as required.

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Knowledge of computer software (MS Office WORD, EXCEL, and ACCESS/internet navigation) and basic data entry.
  • Knowledge of hand tools i.e., multimeters, meggers and test equipment, solders, wire cutters.
  • Familiar with machine shop theory, shop mathematics and layout techniques.
  • Skilled in operating computers and office equipment (fax machines, copiers, phone systems, etc.).
  • Able to organize workload to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Can communicate effectively (both written and oral) and follow instructions.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English per FAA Regulations.
  • Capability to aid in audits.
  • Ability to focus on results, even when dealing with diverse, complex tasks and different jobs and projects and ability to think and concentrate for long periods of time.
  • Capable of performing mathematical calculations associated with repair work scopes.
  • Can work in a team environment and train others as required.
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule.
  • Capacity to learn tasks required to perform the job.
  • Aptitude to analyze and solve repair/overhaul problems.

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in aircraft electrical component repair or closely related field.

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. #LI-DNI
