EthosEnergy is recruiting for a Production Engineer to create and develop new repair schemes and processes using standards, technologies and methods that deliver product excellence whilst meeting the key business objectives of safety, quality and cost as well as perform production support and NPI engineering duties.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and develop new overhaul procedures based on available technical data, re-engineering, engine operation, customer requirements and standard procedures.
  • Product overhaul manual and process document development based on existing processes.
  • Special tool and test apparatus development, procurement and /or construction.
  • Re-engineering of required replacement details and/or parts consumed in the developed repair/overhaul process.
  • Continual improvement of products and processes to optimise on Safety, Quality, Cost & Service Excellence.
  • Training of shop floor personnel against developed processes.
  • Work with Proposal Board Product Change Management Board to manage/record any changes to existing products/processes.
  • Maintain good communications with internal/external customers and regulatory bodies.
  • Work in conjunction with Quality Manager, Engineering Manager and Team Leaders to develop and manage effective lean solutions.
  • Other duties as required by the Engineering Manager.

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Competent in the application of analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and drive process change.
  • Ability to foster working relationships with people at all levels within the organisation.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office software and CAD. CAD experience with Autodesk Inventor or equivalent preferred.

Experience

  • HSE experience is preferable but not essential, as training can be provided.
  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Experience in the application of CAA Regulations preferred.

Education Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a mechanical engineering discipline, preferably in a gas turbine environment.
