We are currently recruiting for a Senior HR Specialist who will ensure alignment of business objectives with employees and management in Torino, Italy. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function globally to deliver a value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations Human Resource and Talent strategy. Focusing on current and future talent needs inclusive of; talent acquisition, management, development succession planning and retention.
  • Ensure HR objectives are aligned to both the strategy of Torino and Global HR to support the delivery of the business strategy, including participation in Management Meetings.
  • Provides support and guidance to management and teammates when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Participation in the collective bargaining process and the interpretation and application of contracts and agreements to ensure compliance to the National Agreement.
  • Manages the ITM initiatives, collaborating with departmental managers to forecast people needs to meet the business strategy.
  • Works with the HR Compensation & Benefits Leader, VP HR East Hemisphere and HR Director to analyze trends in compensation and benefits for in-scope teams; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay/benefits programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Recommends and researches learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, complex absence management cases and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance and provides specialist advice with local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law, inclusive of data integrity, dashboards and HR metrics.
  • Provide support to the leadership team on any restructuring or re-organisation.
  • Manage the payroll process on a monthly basis.
  • Participates in Global HR projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Experience in improvement of HR KPIs (absenteeism, attrition, payroll defects, compliance rate etc.).
  • Knowledge of Italian Labor law, disciplinary management and dismissal procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.


  • Demonstrable experience of human resource management inclusive of Union liaison.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment and with union representatives.

Education Requirements

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Human Resources.
