Primarily responsible for all receipt and shipment of products and supplies as well as maintaining company inventory with the authority to carry out all assigned tasks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Check all incoming packages for obvious shipping damage
  • Verify all paperwork, part numbers, serial numbers and quantities
  • Note any discrepancies at receiving and immediately brings to the attention of the appropriate inspector for disposition
  • Oversee data system for storage and tracking of goods and shipments
  • Communicate with suppliers, receivers, drivers and staff for smooth shipment
  • Generate work order and prints router to send parts receiving inspection
  • Prepare all parts for shipment to the appropriate customer based on the direction of the production manager
  • Stage loading and unloading areas with appropriate equipment, materials and space
  • Package all parts in accordance with company policy and standard practices
  • Prepare all shipping paper work and maintains shipping customer log book
  • Make daily delivery and pick up to/from customers using the company van as necessary
  • Monitor condition of company vehicle keeps clean and records mileage daily
  • Maintain accurate records of all receiving and shipping documents
  • Must be mentally coherent and free from the influence of drugs (either illegal or legally prescribed drugs that may cause impairment) while performing in the capacity of “safety-sensitive” duties/operations per FAA regulations
  • Perform any additional tasks as required

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Knowledge of;
  • Computer software (MS Office WORD, EXCEL, and ACCESS; internet navigation; FedEx & UPS shipping Entry)
  • Basic data entry and/or word processing
  • Inventory control procedures
  • ITAR rules and regulations Skills;
  • Good communication (written and verbal) (English)
  • Operating computers and office equipment (fax machines, copiers, phone system, etc.) Able to;
  • Organize workload to meet deadlines
  • Manage multiple priorities
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Communicate effectively (both written and oral)
  • Work with confidential information
  • Process data into useful information
  • Aid in audits
  • Perform mathematical calculations associated with repair work scopes
  • Operate a fork lift
  • Work as part of a team
  • Train others as required
  • Flexible with work schedule
  • Learn tasks required to perform the job


  • 1 to 2 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 3 years with no major violations

Physical Requirements

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Good dexterity (grip, grasp, clutch)
  • Punctual
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop for up to 8 hours a day
