We are currently looking for experienced multi-national, Field Service Teammates to join us on our many exciting projects around the Eastern Hemisphere across Israel, Germany, Poland, UK, Middle East, Netherlands, South Africa, Turkey and Greece. Technical expertise required on major rotating equipment such as Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Compressors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities listed may vary depending on position and location;
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with the Company’s HSE policies and guidelines.
  • Provide updates on the general safety on the site or other work location and if appropriate make recommendations to improve safety and/or takes corrective actions to bring safety to the minimum standard.
  • Documentation of all work carried out, as well as preparation of technical reports including recommendations for further measures.
  • Assist in ensuring the Company meets its contractual obligations to the customer on time, within budget, safely and to the highest standard.
  • Responsibility for compliance with all security guidelines as well as customer- or country-specific rules.
  • Manage the field service team on major outages when required.
  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, converting, repairing and general maintenance of machines and installations in accordance with regulations and verbal/written instruction.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and for quality control.
  • Liaise with the Field Service Team on job progress and provide feedback on project execution.
  • Support Outage Planning and execution relating to mechanical scope.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with the Company’s HSE policies and guidelines.
  • Attend contractual meetings when required,
  • Troubleshoot customer GT operational problems.
  • Fault find and troubleshoot mechanical/hydraulic problems on all GT systems.
  • Develop and write reports in relation to work completed and advise customers on problems or suspected problems of equipment.
  • Work with others to analyse customer requirements to clearly define critical-to-quality (CTQs) customer expectations.
  • Work with Service Engineering & the wider FSO team to understand and implement Service Excellence in all aspects of Field Service.
  • Act as project lead, when required, for mechanical upgrades and/or modifications.
  • Participate in the training and mentoring of others within the FSO team, including Field Apprentices.
  • Extensive travel is required to meet with site teams, outage support and regional requirements.
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Ability to interpret/mark-up technical drawings.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with both Customers and the internal EthosEnergy businesses.
  • English language skills both spoken and written.
  • Ability to ensure execution risks relative to customer expectations are understood and properly managed.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Professional conduct.

Experience

  • Proven track record working in a service environment, in a lead capacity, in support of Steam or Gas Turbine &/or Gas Compressor rotating equipment.
  • Experience in supporting maintenance, repair, overhaul, upgrade and re-commissioning of said rotating equipment.
  • Demonstrable working experience in Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Industrial industries.
  • Technical turbomachinery background in a Production or Field Service role.

Education Requirements

  • Engineering Degree or Equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • International Travel required
