We are currently recruiting for Junior Technical Field Advisors (TFA) to join our team in Aberdeen, UK. This position will provide you with the learning and experience to grown into a Technical Field Advisor providing support across the UK.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in Combustion, Hot Gath Path and Major Inspections on GE Frame units and other types for Gas Turbines as required.
  • Develop how Outage Planning and execution is managed as part of the mechanical scope.
  • Working with Senior TA’s ensure all processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with the Company’s HSE policies and guidelines.
  • Gain experience in fault finding and troubleshoot Mechanical issues on all GT systems.
  • Develop and write reports in relation to work completed and advise customers on problems or suspected problems of the equipment.
  • Learn how to analyse customer requirements to clearly define critical-to-quality (CTQs) customer expectations.
  • Work with Service Engineering & the wider FSO team to recognise and implement Service Excellence in all aspects of Field Service.
  • Work as part of the FSO team on GT outages, mechanical upgrades and/or modifications.
  • Participate in Company training schemes as required.
  • Extensive travel is required to meet with site teams, outage support and regional requirements
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

  • Previous Experience as Fitter or Technician

Education Requirements

  • ONC/ HNC or equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • Able to work offshore and overseas performing hard physical tasks.
