Production Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Work Order creation, maintenance, coordination, and closure within the ERP system accompanied by BOM administration through use of the Materials, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) module within Visaer
• Reviewing individual parent Work Order requirement and liaison with the Planning & Fulfillment and relevant Contract Execution Manger in order to ensure all CTQ aspects of the contract are understood and planned for from a Production Department perspective.
• Take ownership of parts allocations for Production Work Orders and monitor the delivery of both new and repaired parts to ensure that shortages delivery lead time does not compromise On Time Delivery.
• Take ownership for the Stage Gate process for Exchange Fleet equipment and ensure that the process is kept up to date for assigned Parent Work Orders.
• Aid with planning and maintenance of the Exchange Fleet through analysis of sales forecasting, Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) forecasting, and current exchange fleet capability.
• Aid with equipment test schedule planning
• Aid with maintenance of the Master Production Plan and where necessary chair the Daily Production Meeting.
• Participation, and where required, leading root cause analysis for equipment failures and customer complaint resolution.
• Participation in the form of engineering support to both the Material Review Board and the New Product Introduction processes.
• Creation and maintenance of equipment overhaul documentation with a view to defining technical guidelines to optimize product quality in line with Light Turbines L.L.C. Quality Management System directives.
• Take ownership of business Key Performance Indicators and ensure scheduled completion as required. Participation in cross departmental initiatives (technical and non-technical).
• Support Light Turbines L.L.C. in a variety of tasks (technical and non-technical) as required.
• Special projects as assigned

Experience

• Two years’ experience in the field of high speed rotational machinery, or 2 years’ experience on the EthosEnergy Graduate Rotational Program.

Education Requirements

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline, e.g. Mechanical Engineering.
• Working towards professional Engineering or Project Management accreditation is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma qualifications are a plus.
