As the Service Engineer, you will work closely with the Regional OPS director, PMO and be the front technical face in front of the Customer.

The main focus of your role will be:
- Trouble shooting capability for entire equipment under LTSA - (GT, ST, Gen) limiting any stoppage on equipment service
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Parts management (configuration, parts lifetime)
- Ensure smooth maintenance planning from a technical side
- Channel for central engineering organization

Job Responsibilities

  • Responds to customer complaints
  • Evaluates and resolves problems of the customer
  • Assist in installing and testing the equipment (commissioning)
  • Analyse, inspects and reviews findings to determine the solution to the problem that the customer demands
  • Monitor performance of the product and maintain product manuals
  • Support configuration control records maintenance
  • Provide customers with regular reports and feedback on their service requests
  • Develop and maintain relations with customers
  • Be the first contact for Field Service (TFAs) to provide technical recommendations/guidelines
  • Perform call-out field service as required
  • Provide remote technical assistance for customers and conduct site specific customer training
  • Offer feedback on product development, features and functions

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • GE 9E gas turbine with DLN1 system
  • Performance and emission
  • Steam turbine and their maintenance
  • Generators and their maintenance
  • Trouble shooting and RCA management
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Fluent English (oral and written)
  • Technical Site management

Experience

  • Previous experience in a related role essential

Education Requirements

  • Mechanical / Technical masters degree

Physical Requirements

  • Requirement to be on site in Israel at least 50% of time
  • Ability to travel #LI-remote
