Inspector is responsible for performing receiving inspection, and in process inspections per EEAC QAP’s, Work Instructions, and product manuals. Are also responsible for issuing subcontract purchase orders and performing receiving inspection of purchase order receipt material. Also responsible for Ensuring continuous adherence to customer and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection functions following the appropriate EEAC QAP’s, Product manuals, and Work Instructions: - Receiving Inspection of Customer Material - Receiving inspection of purchased replacement details - Receiving inspection of material sent for sub-contract work - These inspections will consist of both visual and dimensional inspections as necessary
  • Ensure all measuring and test equipment used in the above inspections is fully calibrated and in proper working order before use
  • Issuing of documents relating to inspection/quality functions as follows: - Receiving reports - Route cards and/or travelers - Revisions to Inspection reports - PBOM reports (spare parts requisitions) - Issuing of CAR and SCARS (Corrective action requests and Supplier corrective action requests) - Not-serviceable tags - Any other documents required
  • Raising purchase orders to send material to a vendor for sub-contract work
  • Ensuring adherence to EEAC quality standards and procedures
  • Any other duties as required by the company Ensure that all work area and all work equipment adhere to HS&E requirements

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Knowledge of;
  • HS&E policy and able to interpret HS&E warnings
  • FAA, CAAC, EASA, and ISO regulations regarding Quality
  • EEAC QAP’s, Product Manuals, And Work instruction Manuals
  • Component Maintenance Manuals, Standard Practices Manuals, Service Bulletins and Military Technical Orders
  • Basic understanding of Customer Purchase orders
  • Computer software (MS Office, Word, Excel and internet navigation)\
  • Machine shop equipment (CNC machines, lathes, mills EDM, etc.)
  • Machine shop theory, shop mathematics and layout techniques Ability to:
  • Read and write the English language per FAA regulations
  • Multi-task and prioritize to meet company deadlines
  • Skilled in the use of dimensional measuring and test equipment, including but not limited to the following: - Micrometers - Dial Calipers - Depth Micrometers
  • Work in a team environment
  • Read complex blueprint specifications, charts, and follow work orders and engineering instructions as necessary
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5
  • Focus on results, even when dealing with diverse, complex tasks for different jobs and projects
  • Must be detail oriented

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an inspection field preferred

Education Requirements

  • Completion of a 40 / 80-hour NDT training course.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified to National Standard as a Level II

Physical Requirements

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Good dexterity (grip, grasp, clutch)
  • Ability to work a second shift schedule
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours a day
  • Must be able to pass a vision exam as required
  • FAA & DOT regulated work environment. Must be able to pass required background and drug test.
