As the Rotating Equipment Engineer you will be responsible for technical solutions regarding refurbishment, repair and upgrades of industrial compressors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs inspections and troubleshooting on Compressors and auxiliary systems.
  • Performs compressor performance assessments and specifies scope of work and risk assessments for upgrades and modernisation.
  • Activities are carried out independently, however the Engineer is part of a Project team that has to realize best technical and commercial customer solution with controllable technical risk.
  • Professional technical reporting on all engineering activities is an essential part for this function.

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of design, operation and maintenance of compressors
  • Familiar with the construction and design of rotating machinery and auxiliary equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short response time to sales and customer requests
  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrates effective listening and reporting skills
  • Fluent in English. Other languages preferable
  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental legislations & regulations

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years in a technical role related to design, analysis, technical support, field service, or rotating equipment Engineering.
  • Experience with several compressor designs to be able to repair at customer request.
  • Wide experience in oil and gas, power, or process industry in the rotating equipment areas of compressors and their associated packages.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in an engineering related subject or equivalent technical experience in the product segment.
  • In the possession of a SCC** certificate and knowledge of working safely.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel to visit customer plant sites, and EthosEnergy Facilities.
  • Must have valid passport and driver’s license
