Project Overview

A North American utility was searching for a service provider that could meet their dynamic business challenges. The customer was in search of a gas turbine overhaul and maintenance solution to support a series of three significant outages for three 7EA gas turbines. They were also facing budgetary constraints and underutilization of in-house personnel during the spring and sought a provider that could help with their business challenges. EthosEnergy engineered a solution that aligned the customers’ needs with our independent and innovative capabilities.

Key Challenges

  • Excellent performance during all three outages within three months
  • No capital components were available to support three concurrent outages
  • Lack of budget to procure multiple sets of components

The EthosEnergy Solution

Managed component service compromised of an exchange service and expedited component repair program using supply chain partners. Commercial structure that mitigated budgetary constraints.

Huge reduction in downtime that would have been experienced under a traditional “remove, repairs, replace” maintenance program. Technical direction and engineering guidance provided by EthosEnergy so the utility could use otherwise idle field service personnel
