Kris Gove, Engineering Supervisor in Aberdeen has been working with a local charity, The Men’s Shed, to help create face visor frames for key workers in Aberdeenshire.

Kris alongside a team of volunteers have partnered with the charity to manufacture and 3D print face visors for key workers who have been continuing to work whilst being exposed to the virus. The visors are created to specifications set out by the NHS.

Kris is currently able to provide an incredible 80-100 visors per week by setting up the 3D printer to print five frames at one time. Overall, The Men’s Shed aims to produce 600 face visor per week for key workers.

Well done Kris!
