Taurus™ 60 Gas Turbine Upgrade Boosts Power and Reliability
EthosEnergy successfully upgraded a Centaur® 40 gas turbine to a Taurus™ 60-T7901DLN model at a California industrial site, achieving a 57% increase in power output—from 2800 kW to 3200 kW. The project included a control system upgrade, remote monitoring, and a Term Service Agreement to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Completed within just six days, the upgrade also improved engine availability and enabled 100% self-sufficient power generation. This case study highlights EthosEnergy’s ability to deliver rapid, high-impact turbine enhancements with minimal downtime.
