Why EthosEnergy?

OEM heritage meets independent flexibility

With over 100 years of combined OEM experience in Fiat and mature Westinghouse gas turbines, EthosEnergy brings together the manufacturing quality, capabilities, and standards of an OEM with the commercial agility of an Independent Service Provider (ISP).

For the past two decades, we've specialized in the rotor market—building deep expertise in engineering, repair, and component manufacturing for GE B, E, EA and F-class units. Our comprehensive rotor life extension program includes both new rotor manufacturing and customized life-extension solutions, designed to meet the evolving needs of operators worldwide.

Fully compatible and interchangeable rotor designs

A key priority in our re-engineering process was ensuring backward compatibility with original rotor designs. Drawing on our extensive experience with rotor evolution, we developed a streamlined site checklist to quickly identify the version of the operating rotor.

Our replacement designs incorporate the most effective improvements while preserving the critical geometry required for full compatibility and interchangeability, ensuring seamless integration and reliable performance.

Enhanced design to address known rotor weaknesses

Leveraging our OEM expertise, EthosEnergy’s engineering team has improved rotor designs by identifying and addressing known industry issues. Using advanced digital twin models for each rotor in our portfolio, we pinpointed original design vulnerabilities and aligned them with field-proven failure modes.

Our updated design features have been validated within the digital twin environment to enhance stress resilience and overall durability. These models also play a critical role in evaluating rotors for life extension, with ongoing validation performed during each inspection cycle.

Technical specs

EthosEnergy 7FA.03 and 7FA.04 rotors are certified for the maximum life of 144,000 Factored Fired Hours (FFH) and 5,000 Factored Fired Starts (FFS).

The design has been improved upon by EthosEnergy’s experienced gas turbine engineering team. Our proven OEM design and superior alloys are used for EthosEnergy’s Frame 7FA.03/.04 compressor and turbine rotors.
