EthosEnergy will be presenting at this year’s Topsides UK event at the P&J Live, Aberdeen on 6th November.
Topsides UK 2024 is set to be an energised event focusing on two crucial pillars: Energy Security and Emissions Reduction.
The conference and exhibition will bring together industry leaders to drive innovation and steer towards a sustainable future.
Our Application Engineer for Compressors, Paul Hassall, will present our capabilities in extending compressor life, focusing on improving performance, reliability, and environmental impact. This presentation will take place during the Asset Integrity & Maintenance session from 9:35 to 10:00 on 6th November.
Additionally, our Vice President of Sales for the East Hemisphere, Farzad Jahromi, will share his insights on our life extension solutions for mature assets. His presentation will be part of the Asset Transformation & Optimisation session, scheduled from 15:20 to 15:45, also on the 6th of November.
Farzad Jahromi
Vice President - Sales, Eastern Hemisphere
Farzad has over 20 years of experience in rotating equipment aftermarket services in the Oil, Gas, and Energy sectors. He strongly focuses on customer relationships and front-end requirements, driving business excellence and responsiveness to our customers through teamwork.
After graduating as a mechanical engineer, Farzad started his career with Siemens as a Sales Engineer. He then joined EthosEnergy / Wood Group GTS in early 2006, where he continued his development in a variety of sales positions and later became a General Manager of a business unit.
Farzad has had the opportunity to be based in different geographical regions throughout the Eastern Hemisphere, including the Middle East, APAC, and Europe, and to operate across diverse business cultures, giving him an in-depth knowledge of our products and extensive expertise in the energy sector. His latest position with the business is Vice President of Sales for the East Hemisphere.
Paul Hassall
Application Engineer - Compressors
Paul has 20+ years' experience in rotating equipment.
Graduating with a mechanical systems degree, Paul started his career working hands on in the field then progressing to a rotating equipment engineer role supporting Compressors and Turbines. Paul has spent time in Australia working as a major works lead dealing with turnarounds, major overhauls, minor upgrades and managing contracts. Moving back to UK Paul continued to support the oil and gas sector in a rotating equipment lead role.
His latest position with EthosEnergy as an Applications Engineer, focuses on supporting sales and commercial teams to find compressor technical solutions for customers.
