Existing rotor life extension Replacement Rotor

Lifetime assessment (LTA)  

  • TIL 1576 allows for a potential one-time extension beyond the FFH/FFS limits based on the results of an LTA. EthosEnergy’s qualified craftsmen and engineers can perform the LTA and determine the possible life extension based on results  

Condition Based Life Extension (CBLE)  

  • Our qualified engineers perform a detailed evaluation of the rotor condition, associated risks, and recommendations for component replacement with a possible 50k-200k FFH and 2,500 FFS extension 

 

Phoenix Rotor™  

  • A hybrid rotor with new and Certified Previously Operated (CPO)™ components certified for the equivalent of the life of a new rotor. Proven OEM design and materials are used for EthosEnergy Phoenix Rotor™ compressor and turbine rotor discs.  

Certified Previously Operated (CPO)™  

  • A rotor with a known pedigree that has been thoroughly inspected and tested at one of our centers of excellence. Certified for possible life up to 150k FFH and 2,500 FFS.

Gas turbine parts FAQs

A typical GE heavy-duty turbine HGP kit includes Stage 1–3 buckets/blades, nozzles, shrouds, transition pieces, liners, seals and hardware. EthosEnergy stocks OEM-equivalent parts for Frames 3, 5, 6B, 7EA/FA and 9E/F so you can lock in all critical components ahead of your planned outage.

Yes. Each refurbished part is strip-inspected, NDE-tested, dimensionally restored and coated according to the latest industry standard before final quality analysis. Serviceable-used parts undergo borescope and FPI checks to verify the remaining life. All Gas Turbine parts, after EthosEnergy refurbishment, are validated for their next repair / replace interval, according to the OEM guidelines (GER 3620 document). EthosEnergy standard warranty for refurbished parts is 8.000 FFH or 1 year from installation or 18 months from delivery, whichever comes first.

Every new or refurbished component ships with material certificates, dimensional inspection reports and metallurgical data that meet or exceed OEM standards. Under certain conditions and depending on the component, EthosEnergy is available to evaluate an extended warranty period to support our customer requirements.

Yes. We maintain a global exchange pool and employ reverse-engineering for discontinued Frame 3–9 components. If we don’t have stock, we can usually manufacture or locate an approved substitute.
